What should I wear to my treatment?

Sportswear or loose-fitting clothing is best.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

If you have filled out an ACC form elsewhere, please bring your letter from ACC confirming your claim number and injury date. Please bring any relevant information related to your complaint including specialist letters and reports.

What does my first consultation involve?

Your first consultation will involve a detailed medical history, osteopathic assessment, diagnosis, explanation of what is going on and treatment.

Can an Osteopath refer me for an X-Ray or Ultrasound?

Your osteopath can refer you for imaging or to another specialist if needed. 

Is Osteopathy covered by ACC?

Yes, all practitioners at Cashmere Osteo are ACC registered. This means we can register your injury with ACC without the need to see your doctor. Simply book an appointment with us and we will guide you through the process. 

Is Osteopathy covered by private health insurance?

Yes, however we recommend contacting your insurer to find out whether you are covered for osteopathy on your policy. For Southern Cross policy holders, we can process your claim electronically.

Is there parking available at Cashmere Osteo?

Yes, we have onsite parking and extra parking available on both sides of Cashmere Road.
