Osteopathy is a form of health care that uses hands-on treatment and medical knowledge to diagnose and treat pain and injury. People seek out osteopathic treatment for a variety of reasons ranging from aches and pains, injury, arthritis, postural problems, and changes due to pregnancy, just to name a few. Because it is non-invasive treatment it is safe for people of all ages.
Osteopaths treat the whole person and not only their symptoms. We work with you to develop a bespoke treatment plan that caters for your individual needs. Focusing on muscles, joints, and bones, we use a variety of techniques combining massage, manipulation, and exercise rehabilitation.
Osteopaths are primary healthcare practitioners and are registered ACC providers. Osteopaths are required to be government registered and complete a minimum of four years university training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general medical diagnosis, and osteopathic techniques.
An osteopath can refer you for an X-ray and ultrasound or to another specialist. You do not need a referral from your doctor to see an osteopath.
Our aim is to provide the highest level of care and treatment, so you can have a full recovery and a program to support ongoing good health.
